Z Controls not working

Hi, I am currently using the Repetier Host V2.0.1 and I just set up everything almost perfectly. Minus the part that the Z control isn't working. Homing works fine though. 

The type of printer is a Kossel, and I am using a RAMPS 1.4 board w/Arduino Mega 2560, and I am connecting it via USB. Any help would be great. Also, Ive set my printer shape to Rostock Printer (Circular print shape) and I can see a square shaped object on the virtual bed that is hollow on the top and bottom, which is far from the center of the circle. Is this normal?

Commands waiting

Okay so i bought a CoLiDo diy printer and it works perfectly with the models preloaded on the software it came with but wont work otherwise. (Im a complete newbie to all of this so sorry for my termanology). I tried printing models from places like thingiverse and it will load them into the software but when i try to print them my printer freezes in the same spot every time before it even starts. The same thing happens with fusion 360 and ironCAD.
And if i try to 'home' the print head it comes up with a 'commands waiting' list that always ends up being at least 10 items.
It freezes and i cant even close the window.
The only way i can clear the list is to uninstall then reinstall the software.
Am i missing something really simple and dumb??

HE K280 Calibration

I have a HE K280 printer and new to this. 

First off, I homed the printer successfully, but whenever I tell it to go down -10 mm, it goes down really slow and it doesn't stop. I have a feeling this has something to do with Travel Feed Rate or Z Axis Feed Rate? 

And are there any other tutorials on how to calibrate it with a auto level sensor? No offense but the link here is a bit confusing/it tells me to go into the firmware, which I don't think I want to do unless its necessary.

How to make changes to the EEPROM data

Hi, Anycubic Linear-Plus Delta.

For some crazy reason Anycubic have decided to change their firmware delivery format to .hex files.

My Plus seems to be midway between some changes. The version prior to mine has 269mm rods and the current one has 271.5 and of course mine has 267mm.

The only firmware they are providing is in .hex file format for the 271.5 rods. I have leveled with that and am getting a concave Z0.00. I have set it to paper clearance at the edge but that leaves the center 4-sheets of paper high and small stuff ain't sticking well.

I notice that Host shows the contents of the EEPROM and I can clearly see the cursed 271.5. If I could change that to 267 and save it back to the EEPROM, I am pretty sure my concave issue would go away. Or, at worst, be lessened enough to keep it printing.

Can this be done?
OR
Does anyone have the format for date within the EEPROM and I can write my own to plug stuff back in.

G or M Code for Flowrate?

is there a G or M Code that will control/vary the flow rate setting in Repetier Host? It would be a welcome function as it would allow users to change flow rates for different layers.

repetier firmware cant print from SD card

Hi
i used the

Repetier-Firmware configuration tool 0.92.9 version

to update my previous setup in order to add  a LCD screen support with SD card

the problem is that the display works fine...  i can control  homing , read the sd card  but when i press to print a file from the sd card then the  dispaly shows for few  seconds below that printer is printing and then goes again to the  previous state...  like being in stand by mode...  (no errors appearing ) 

The file i had in the sd card has been sliced with cura engine with  repetier host 1.6.2  i am using


When i am using the usb cable to send the file to the printer.. it works fine and printed

Missing several layers

Hello,

My name is Troy. I am new to the 3d printing world. I just got a flsun diy prusa i3 and whenever I print, I am missing several layers at the start and I don't know how to fix it in Repetier. Can anyone help?

connect to anet a8 (prusa i3?)

I can connect cura and print objects via the usb port but I would like to use Repetier to send info.
I am using windows7 on a pc connected with a usb lead direct to the printer board . All I get on the log is a list of lines
(n55, n56 etc) usually M105 and asterix with a number after it scrolling up.
Some times I get
communication timeout - reset send buffer block     in red
I go to manual control and get        x command waiting         every time I try to jog. Eventually this goes back to   idle and then back to     1 command waiting     as if it is trying to communicate.
This looks like I have the baud rate wrong but I have tried all sort of baud rates without change?
Anybody know how to set up Repetier to work with the Anet A8?

@execute commands executed before gcode completes

I've added an '@execute' command at the very end of the 'end gcode' section of the printer settings in Slic3r.  However, the gcode in this section doesn't finish executing before the @execute command executes.  I've got gcode to home x & y and lift z 10 mm before disabling steppers and turning off the bed and extruder.  What happens is that as soon as the print is finished the @execute and @push message executes before the end gcode.  My @execute script powers off the printer, which leaves the print head melting into the last position of the print instead of lifting the Z and homing X & Y beforehand.  I've tried adding an M400 before the @ commands and a G4 S30, but always the @commands are processed first.
What am I doing wrong?

No longer able to view / change Firmware EEPROM Configuration on my Printrbot

I've been using Repetier-Host with my Printrbots for a long time.  First an LCV1 (from the original Kickstarter) and now with my Metal Plus.  In the past, I was able to view and edit EEPROM parameters like steps/mm in the Firmware EEPROM Configuration dialog.  I haven't had a need for that in a long time, and when I tried it today, I found that option is greyed out (can't be selected).  I think this may be because I updated the firmware on my machine and they have changed the ID string.  I have read that feature only works with Repetier-Firmware, but it definitely did used to work on my Printrbot and it's a very useful tool.  Is there some way I can get this feature back?

CR-10 Not Printing

Repetier indicates connected with printer. After slicing and pressing print, nothing happens - no heat, no fan, no action. Is there a setting I missed? Should the printer controller be off or on?

Please add a button / function

There is a possibility to create a button\option in Repeiter-Host pause on the necessary layer and shift the printhead to "0" (e.g. X-axis) to change plastic? This option is often necessary to print color products on the printer with one printhead. At the moment you need to be aware of print layers, and in such cases it is likely to miss the desired layer.

Repetier won't print

I am new to the repetier program.  I have my design ready to print and it sends it to the printer, but it never reaches my 3d printer.  It gives me gcode, timing of print job, but never actually prints.  Please help, my students are so looking forward to using it.

Where else aside from slicer can extruder temp be defined?

I have my extrude profile for cura set to 195 however looking at the gcode it's setting it to 205.  I even changed the default extrude temp to 195 in config | printer setup | printer  to eliminate that w/ no luck.  I did ensure I was using the correct extruder profile. Slic3r works as designed so there has to be some setting in cura I'm missing.  Anyone run into this?  I thought I went through every setting in cura, obviously not :(.

Decoupling Error

I have a K280 printer and I printed out two prints when I ran into a decoupling error. I checked to see if there were any volts going through the place where the wire connected to the board (there were about 24v) and checked if the temp sensor was working; it did.

I got a hair dryer and blew hot air on the temp sensor as I told the heater to heat to 200C. So I basically tricked it to believe the heater was heating up, so it continued to heat itself instead of giving me an error ("dec" on the LED screen).. This should indicate that there isn’t anything physically wrong?

I am dumbfounded as to why. I did buy a spare one but I don’t know why it’s giving me this error and wanted to see if it could have anything to do with the firmware?

Camera crops anything above 300x180 on pi w/ mjpg-streamer

The server view always looks fine but in the host it crops it.  The odd thing is it doesn't crop it centered, it appears to be cropping the top left of the actual camera image.  Is this a bug of some sort?

connecting repetier-host to Makerbot's replicator 2...

Hi everyone,
I've got my replicator 2 bot and i wanted to go a deeper into different slicing techniques.
so far repetier seems to provide the best preview per slice, and best feedback from the all different slicers under the same roof.
however i haven't been able to find any info on how to get the 2 working together. 
I Managed to connect them but when i hit print it just stays on printing mode 0% and nothing is happening. 

Is it at all possible to send sliced models to the makerbot via reptier? 
I gathered the makerbot firmware might not support this . 
can upload a different firmware on the makerbot? 

any help would be highly appreciated.
