Multiple Printers and connecting to server

Morning,

I have two printers attached to Repeter-server (running on a Pi 3). One printer is a Delta and one a Cartesian so of course I have two different printer profiles.  

To select\change the printer I want to print on in Repetier-Host,  I have to select\change it in two spots 

First I have to select the printer from the dropdown on the main screen and disconnect (if I don't I cant perform the next steps)

Open the printer settings
Connect to continue 
Select the printer from the drop down list
then apply.

Am I doing the right? I would think that it should remember these settings so when I select the printer from the front screen it should know\remember what server printer to point to.

Ok  I know this must be a stupid question as I can find no answer anywhere, but what is the lower right button with the 2 down arrows on the extruder jog control for?

Issue with outside of the bounds of the array

When doing G33 or Height map function the probing gives this error:

Exception during socket read: Index outside the bounds of the array

Except it goes on and properly touched the probe and moves to the next point without recording anything

At the the end it gives an:

Error: A hit floor

Then I get:

Warning: Invalid delta coordinate - move ignored x:12267 y:11360 z:1600
Warning: in  queDeltaMove to calculateDeltaSubSegments returns error.
Warning: executeGCode / queueDeltaMove returns error
(above are in blue)

Exception during socket read:Index was outside the bounds of the array


It goes in to the out of bounds status when the probe crosses into the positive Y axis area and as i sated above continues probing at the assigned points but giving the outside of array error andnot taking any adat on board.

Machine is a Geeetech G2S Pro with the GT2560 board running DRV8825 steppers. Power is 24V 360W PSU

Control computer is lenovo D20

Bed stuck at bottom of printer

When I hit print light comes on printer bed stays at bottom of printer. nothing else starts only the light bed staying at the bottom not moving. How do I use Bed height map in repetier host ?

Red slash shown across extruder heating, cannot control temp, but still heats up

Hi!!

So my recent issue is that when I connect my Prusa i3 RepRap 3D printer to my laptop and use the repetier-host, I dont seem to have control of the extruder temperature.  A red slash is shown on the icon (like how it looks when you disable to fan, bed temp, or extuder temp).  The extruder does still heat up, and the temperature is shown in the color bar to extruder temp, but I can not adjst the set point of the temperature.  The same printer works fine on the repetier-server with no temperature issues, but I prefer the host so I can slice my .stl files and print directly.

Any idea how I can fix this bug??  Thanks in advance!!

Repetier v0.95F and v1.6.2 issues

All,
I have just downloaded the following Repetier versions trying to do my first 3D print job and I have had issues with both versions.

I downloaded and installed 1.6.2 first and my window that shows the object never redraws. I still see my desktop icons through the window.

so...

I uninstalled and tried to install 0.95F and I get the same thing, plus I get the follow errors:

Printer will not move manually on z axis

My K200 delta printer is not able to move the z axis manually. It moves great on the x/y but whenever i try to move the z nothing happens. Does anyone know the reason this might be happening? Thank you in advance!

No longer able to view / change Firmware EEPROM Configuration on my Printrbot

I've been using Repetier-Host with my Printrbots for a long time.  First an LCV1 (from the original Kickstarter) and now with my Metal Plus.  In the past, I was able to view and edit EEPROM parameters like steps/mm in the Firmware EEPROM Configuration dialog.  I haven't had a need for that in a long time, and when I tried it today, I found that option is greyed out (can't be selected).  I think this may be because I updated the firmware on my machine and they have changed the ID string.  I have read that feature only works with Repetier-Firmware, but it definitely did used to work on my Printrbot and it's a very useful tool.  Is there some way I can get this feature back?

Why does Repetier Host display a blank white screen in 3D view?

I just installed Repetier Host and I can't get a 3D screen to display. It is a blank white screen on that side of the window. It works fine on one of my computers running Windows 8, but on the one attached to my printer is does not. Any suggestions on what the problem could be?

3d cube 1st and 2nd generation

I have a printer 3d cube 1st generation ( but firmware 2.08 - 2nd generation )
I was able to be combined with repetier-host the wifi, but I can not print
I received the message "communication timeout - reset send buffer block

Can anyone help me?

Invert axis??

Just got my first 3d printer (q3d threeup) installed arduino and repetier. everthing works, but the axis seems to be inverted. so when i press Z+ the printer goes Z- ect. is there anyway i can invert the axis in repetier??

losing connection

Repetier Host sends new commands mid-way through a print.

Hello,

I am having a problem whilst print using Repetier Host. At a random point during the first 5 layers of a print, the log will show 3 messages. The first is 'cold extrusion prevented'. Then it shows 'enqueing "G1 X0 Y0 F9000", and lastly 'enqueing "M84 X Y Z E". This attempts to move the head and the bed to their home positions but goes straight back to printing after less than a second (the bed only drops 5-10ml) but in the wrong position so it prints off the bed and hits the side of the printer.

Another thing I noticed is that when the 'cold extrusion' message is shown, the temperature reading doesn't actually go below 195 (the temp I was printing at). It does the opposite and goes straight up to 210 degrees.

I am using a CoLiDo Compact printer. This is a pre-built printer and uses marlin firmware.

Do you know why the printer is sending these commands?

I am new here. i finished building my printer a prusa i3 pro b . i installed the drivers and fiirmvare but i cant find how to calibrate it. I cant find any detailed instructions about how to set the parking potition of the printer and when i al pressing home button the axis moves to opposite direction from the endstops and hits noizey on sides.Could someone be patient and hove time to assist me with all this?

What is increase of current directed to extrusion motor for each increase in Manual Extrusion Speed?

I've located the rails on the Rambo 1.3 board on my taz 4 that supply the motors, and have been trying to measure the current directed to the extrusion motor for each speed setting. I'm doing this so I can avoid calculating all of the phases of the stepper motor itself. But it's proving to be difficult to measure still, so I was wondering is there is any documentation or data available on the increase of current per setting?

Why won't the print start when M109 command is used?

When I try to start a print job that contains the M109 (wait for temperature to be reached) command, it just hangs.  Here is my gcode:

M107
M190 S55 ; set bed temperature
M104 S200 ; set temperature
G28 ; home all axes
G1 Z5 F5000 ; lift nozzle

M109 S200 ; wait for temperature to be reached

If I manually preheat the bed and extruder and comment out the M109 line of code the print starts with no issue. 

Something that may be related, during the preheat step the bed temperature display in Repetier-Host shows 54.90 even though the LCD display on the printer shows the value going up and down.  After the print starts, the display starts working again.

About Repetier-Host Plugin.

Hello, I have two questions about Repetier-Host Plugin.


First, I'd like to attach a sensor to a 3D printer and , make data that changes according to sensor value in real time while printing the data. Is there a plugin that can do this?

As an example, I attach the youtube videos.
