Z probe on positive side of extruder not going to offset position

I cant seem to get the software to put my probe over the probe cordinates, my probe is to the right of my extruder, so if i tell it the offset is 25 then it puts the probe 25 to the right(+) from where it needs to be, and if i set the offset to -25 then it puts the probe 50 to the right (+) from where it needs to be and if i set it to offset of 0 it puts the probe 25 to the right (+) of where it needs to be just like the offset of 25 does?

Unable to use second extruder

Hello all

I have a XYZ davinci 2 duo that was working well using the 2 extruders with the stock firmware. I successfully printed 2 color parts several times.

Then I reflashed it and now I am using repetier host for windows version 1.5.4 with slic3r 1.2.9

On repetier Host I see two assignable extruders where I can assign the objects I load to the extruder I want to use.

Then I slice and print but the da vinci only heats and uses extruder one even if I assigned extruder 2 before slicing

On the da vinci I can clean, load, anything on extruder 2 so it is recognized by the da vinci repetier firmware and by repetier host but it just does not print using extruder 2

Please advice.

THANK YOU

Reset buffer block

I am trying to program a leadscrew delta printer that is run by a Rambo board. I've downloaded the firmware successfully, I think. When I turn it all on only one stepper locks. Ive checked voltages and motor b locks. Motor c receives voltage and motor a does and has nothing. When I try and command a movement in host I get an error that says "reset buffer block". Is anyone familiar with that?

G & M codes

I am having problems trying to debug my  firmware using Repetier Host.  Is there a detailed list of the G and M codes with examples of the expected output formats.  There appears to be a lot more returned than the standard G code lists describe.

Introduction and auto levelling queries

Hi all,

I built a Prusa I3 clone last year, but gave up due to the fact that it was impossible to keep within calibration from print to print due to movement in the frame and x carriage assembly. When it was working right, the prints were fine, but it took too much time to level the bed manually and I put it away until I had a better understanding.

I have now rebuilt it with a stiffer frame, lead screws on the z axis and an induction sensor, hopefully this will allow me to have better luck with it.

I wish to print directly onto the aluminium mk3 heated bed. I have a inductive sensor 30mm away from the hot end on the x axis, this is connecting to the Z_MIN pin. This also acts as the Z_MIN endstop. All of my endstops work and the motors run fine. I have set the homing sequence to XYTZ and can successfully home the Z axis on the bed, due to the sensor being off it when at X0 Y0. I have also manual levelled the bed as much as I can to get a good starting point.

Have have no idea where to go from here, I seem to be spending hours going round in circles. Am I right in thinking that I need to home the Z axis and the distance from the nozzle to the bed minus the thickness of a piece of paper when the sensor is triggered is what I enter into Z_PROBE_HEIGHT? from here I guesss I have to run G28 and then G32 to map the bed with rotation?

Thanks in advance for your help!

My Printer forcing it self |Davinci 1.0 |

So recently my printer is acting strange as if the print bed was further left and because of this the machine is forcing it self to go left to its limit
and it wont go to its original home it would just go in the back middle of the bed, help is much appreciated Thanks.

Temperature curve display

Occasionally I notice that my temp when first starting a print varies +-20C when the hot end is heating up. After about 5 minutes it balances out then the print starts. This time, when looking at the temp curve chart, the extruder temp is at zero, the printer is showing 220c, as it should. The only thing I could think is going on is that on the bottom of the display it shows  "Extruder 1: 220/220C Extruder 2: 0.0/220C Bed 59.4/60C"

I do not have a second extruder. Is the display reflecting extruder 2?

How do I resolve this?

Thanks in advance.

Manual Move After Print

I have a davinci 1.0 with RH.  After a print completes I have two issues.  The first is that the bed never seems to get to the lower position even though my end gCode instructs it to move to position 200.  Here is my end gcode

M117 Done
G92 E0 ; reset extrusion distance
M104 S0 ; turn off extruder
M140 S0 ; turn off Bed
G90 ; Absolute
G28 X0 Y0 ; home
M117 Down Bed
G1 Z200 ; Lower bed
M117 Cleaning
M100 ;Cleaning
M84 ; Disable motors
M117 Cooling
M190 S55 ; Bed (cooling)
M116 ; Wait for all temperatures
M140 S0 ; turn off Bed
M117 Pickup piece
M300 s2500 p400 ; Beep
M300 s2000 p400
M300 s1500 p400
M300 s1000 p400
M84 ; Disable motors
M117 Printer Ready

Also after a print I can no longer move the printer with the manual buttons in RH.  I am still able to use the home buttons but that is all.  I am sure I am just missing a setting somewhere.  When i try to send manual move commands it looks like an error of X3 is displayed but i could not find out what that might mean.

General Question on the printing movement

Hello Repetier,
Currently, I am using CURA engine, and my print job will create an outside shell, then fill the inside.

I am wondering, is there any option on Repetier-Host to reverse the movement? By mean, having the print job fill the inside then create the shell.

Thank you for your help.

slicing problem with Cura for dual extruder

Hi,

After modifying my prusa i3 with the Cyclops dual extruder, and configuring the Repetier firmware, I made my first tests

-Slicing with Slic3r an printing with one color is OK

-Slicing with Slic3r an printing with two color is OK, but dirty so I need wipe towers.

I decided to test Curaengine as I heard it did a great job for the wipe towers.

I configured it as I guess it should be but the slicing gives a weird result, like if the two colors are getting wiped on every layer.

The other problem, if I launch the printing process is that the nozzle heats too much (220° instead of the 180° configured)

Here's a capture of the slicing, I expected to see the same colour in the tower and not alternate colour on each layer

Here's my configuration, if it can help:

log window missing

when I first had repetier-host I had a log window at the bottom of the screen.  At some point when I was moving repetier-host around to copy data from another window into eeprom settings the log window disappeared and I cannot get it back, even with a fresh install.  Can someone advise me how to get the window back?  I expect I need to go into the registry.

I'm on win10 and im running v1.6.2

Thanks

Homing Failure

There is an issue with my printer during the homing phase. The printer correctly activates the endstops, stops the motors, and begins the back off. During the back off however, the motor does not back the carriage completely off the endstop. I have a he3d delta and the programming was preloaded onto the board, which seems to be some chinese version of ramps. Is there anyway I can adjust the back off distance within the host interface or how should I go about fixing this?

Print support with PVA

Hi,
My printer has a dual extruder, and I'd like to print an object with PVA as support material.
I use the Included Cura, but I did not found in the configuration setting tabs  a way to specifiy which extruder to use for printing support material.

In standard Cura, the option exist. It's called "double extrusion support" in "Support".

Did I miss something, or is this option not available in Repetier-cura ?

Linux Repetier-Host Debug Controls Missing?

$

Hi. I'm running Repetier-Host 1.6.2 under Linux -- supposedly the most recent version. No matter what I do, I cannot see the debug controls that are supposed to be under the manual controls. I want to use "Dry Run" mode -- but need those controls to do it, or alternately need to know the script/codes to send to manually trigger this mode. Odd though that the buttons are missing. Any ideas? Thanks.

Repetier Host: Resume printing after pause, using Cura 2.3 extension

$

I have recently started using Cura 2.3.1.
Amongst others, this slicing software offers an extension that is called "Pause at height" that halts printing at a user-defined height, which is very useful if you want to insert material at a certain spot on top of which the print should continue.

I was expecting that this mechanism would work with the pause-function that is available in Repetier-Host. However: that is not the case.
Does anyone know how I can resume printing, once the gcode goes into "pause"?
Or is there another trick to use this Cura extension in combination with Repetier Host?
