Missing Slic3r prusa configuration startup

Just upgraded to the latest repiter host (2.1.2) for windows and now the config menu for the prusa slicer no longer opens the configuration program. Gives a
<Slic3rPE> Loading an application config file failed:
<Slic3rPE> <unspecified file>(7): key expected
<Slic3rPE> Slic3r installed in a loclized path. Using an 8.3 path: “C:\PROGA~1\REPETI~1\Slic3rPE

Anyone else have this problem?

Issues connecting via SSh

So for over a year now I had been running ~8 machines on 2 repetier servers. Both are running on what was at the time brand new raspberry pi 3's. At some point in time we had managed to change 1 of the 2 servers to being a static IP address, but it was my friend that did it not me and neither of us can remember how we managed it.

Just recently, I broke my sd card on the pi in half (Not sure how. It was in a case and everything. Suddenly the server died and I couldn't figure out why for the longest time until I pulled the sucker out)

Ever since it's been the biggest nightmare. Our entire printer line is now offline and I'm really struggling to get it back up. Currently, I'm trying to SSH into the server, but it prompts me asking for a password, of which all documentation online has either said there shouldn't be one, or it is raspberry pi's default password of raspberry.

This does not work, neither does no password, 12345678 123456789 or any other combination.


I'm running the raspberry pi built images currently the most up to date but no other version has worked either.

I have 4 different pi's and have tried them all and had no luck. Really stuck and in a pinch here as it is really hurting our production! (And quite frankly I'm burning myself trying to fix the issue..)

XYZ Axis Problem with Fabrikator Mini by TURNIGY

I recently received a Fabrikator Mini 3D printer and I have loved it; however, the last time I used it, the printer's extruder didn't go down far enough to print, thus causing the model to print out as a large plastic ball. I followed the user guide, so this issue doesn't make much sense. Does anybody know what might be causing the issue???

connection does not work

Hello everyone,
When I connect the USB port between the computer and the printer the connection takes about 5seconds and then it starts again in loop connected / disconnected. Where could the problem come from? I can not solve this.

connect to anet a8 (prusa i3?)

I can connect cura and print objects via the usb port but I would like to use Repetier to send info.
I am using windows7 on a pc connected with a usb lead direct to the printer board . All I get on the log is a list of lines
(n55, n56 etc) usually M105 and asterix with a number after it scrolling up.
Some times I get
communication timeout - reset send buffer block     in red
I go to manual control and get        x command waiting         every time I try to jog. Eventually this goes back to   idle and then back to     1 command waiting     as if it is trying to communicate.
This looks like I have the baud rate wrong but I have tried all sort of baud rates without change?
Anybody know how to set up Repetier to work with the Anet A8?

Change the inicial z home value

I am using a leapfrog creatr and i am using a POM filament, its really hard to have adhesion to the bed so know i am trying to put a thin layer of solid Pom in the bed soo that when the filament is printing the filament can stick in the Pom, for that i need to put the z value on the home position a little bit lower. How can i do that in the repetier 2.0.5?

Printing stops mid print same location

I am a noob so please bear with me.  I have had several successful prints and having a great time until yesterday.  I purchased this DaVinci 1.0 uses.  Previous owner had flashed Repetier .92.  I installed Host and went to printing.  Yesterday this print failed.  I shut down started again, same result.  I have since checked wires, tried a different print job, removed and reformatted SD card, rerouted wires to print head, scratched my head, cussed a few times.  I'm not sure what to try next.  I see the target temperature drops to zero when printing stops.  In not sure if that causes the printing to stop or it is after printer stops.

Can't connect with Anycubic i3 Mega

Hello,
I want to connect and control my new Anycubic i3 Mega with Repetier Host because I'm doing it with my Prusa i3 Steel as well. But while the printer sends an acoustic connection signal the log tells me that no start signal is detected:
12:17:00.934 : No start signal detected - forcing start
12:17:41.099 : Communication timeout - reset send buffer block

I'm using the printer with its original firmware.

Would be great if anybody could help me.

Autoleveling used for PCB

Hello.

I use until one year Repetier for a milling CNC. It work perfectly up tu now
I want to use it to mill some PCB.

I m make some test and the milling of PCB is not working due to the leveling of the copper.

Is it a possibility to use the autoleveling command to correct the leveling and to mill the PCD?

Which slicer should I use?

I’m completely new to all this so please be considerate if I ask an obvious question. I have a Geeetech Acrylic Prusa I3 Pro B 3D printer and I am going through the Repetier manual. I have successfully reached the section on slicing and found that I have several options of which slicer to use. Can anyone direct me to a web page that outlines the pros and cons of each one. On my installation of Repetier it comes up initially with slic3r selected and the manager shows 2 others listed “CuraEngine” and “slic3r Prusia Edition” and a button to add more but the Manual shows 2 more Skienforge and “Big Brother”. I don’t want to spend ages experimenting with the settings in slic3r only to find that there is a better one. Many thanks if you can advise.

EEPROM CONFUSION AND OTHER QUESTIONS EVENTUALLY

Hey, I am wanting to fix my EEPROM to make it so I can change my values on Repetier Host. I have an Arduino Mega 2560 with RAMPS 1.4 and I am running Repetier Firmware and Host simultaneously. When using the configuration tool I must have set it to the wrong value because my box is grayed out. How can I fix this? Should I buy a new board or can I still talk to the brain? Thanks in advance.

Hello I'm new on this forum and I have some problem with my autoleveling ( I've got a kossel mini with mks mini v1.1 and repetier firmware)
I've read lot of forum on that and... It's a mess ^^
So, once and for all... What's the difference between G29, G30, G32, S0, S1, S2, what's going on when I click on "measure heights" in the bed map height tool?
Because for me, each command does a different thing and there is any correction done at all.
How do you store the matrix correction on your eeprom? (I know G32 S2, ok... but for me it doesn't work :p )
I guess you'll want some details ;)

Hotend temp is above 61c but less than 40c in Repetier

Printrbot Simple Metal, Rev F

I had to reflash my firmware. Since reflashing my hotend heats up but the temperature doesn't show up correctly in Repetier. For example, at 61c, Repetier shows it at less than 40 c. The temp of the hotend goes up high enough that I can't measure (I did get smoke the first time when I first noticed the problem) but the temperature in Repetier never goes up past 40c.

I'm not sure what is wrong. I have tried reflashing again. I'm just a beginner, so I'm not sure how to determine whether I have a hardware or software problem. Can anyone help me think through some solutions, please?

z axis not homing

i am using a repetier firmware and a repetier controller host for my printer. When i home each axis individually the x and the y axis seems to be working perfectly but when it comes to z axis. It moves for a certain time and wont home at all..Please help me

What is Max Printable Radius? 

When I send G1 x80 y-45 (or G1 x80 y45) with Max Printable Radius setted under 100, the printer don't move.

Print estimates between host and server vary wildly

Why is it that I slice on repetier host and then send to the server but the print time estimates are wildly off?

My host says 2.5 hours and my server may say 8 hours on the same object when I send it.  I just sliced one and it said 20:26:15.  I sent it to the printer and it says 35 hours and 51 minutes.  Both are wrong to a large degree as one that says 2.5 hours on the host and 8 hours on the server may actually take 5 hours.

I commonly do prints that run 24 hours but when I see 35 hours+ I usually start second guessing whether I actually need it or not.

I also noticed that sometimes I can send a second time and get a much lower number on the exact same object with the exact same slice.

Hi everyone,
I've got my replicator 2 bot and i wanted to go a deeper into different slicing techniques.
so far repetier seems to provide the best preview per slice, and best feedback from the all different slicers under the same roof.
however i haven't been able to find any info on how to get the 2 working together. 
I Managed to connect them but when i hit print it just stays on printing mode 0% and nothing is happening. 

Is it at all possible to send sliced models to the makerbot via reptier? 
I gathered the makerbot firmware might not support this . 
can upload a different firmware on the makerbot? 

any help would be highly appreciated.

Reset send buffer block and wrong checksum errors

I am making models, slicing them, then running them in repetier. However, I am getting errors. One error is "Communication time out, resend buffer block" and the other is "Wrong Checksum" I get the communication error randomly and the wrong checksum error after each layer. I have tried to change buadrate to no success. How can I go about fixing this? Thank you!
